Over my lifetime I have continued to elevate my artistic renderings. I have had my artwork displayed in countless shows and galleries in the Coastal Carolina regions. Thanks to the expansion of online opportunities, I can continue to share my art and provide some of my private collection for sale.
About ME
Originally from NW Pennsylvania, and the Lake Erie region, I began drawing and sketching at an early age. My favorite subjects became landscapes, animals, and active people usually portrayed in pencil, charcoal, pastel chalks, and watercolors. Later on, that expanded to oil and mixed media expressions.
My mainstay has been in the discipline of "realism" especially with pets and animals. But recent years stylistic approaches have adopted to more "impressionistic" renderings. Designer of the Town of Oak Island seal when Long Beach and Yaupon Beach merged in 1999. Now in my 80's I have become somewhat of a local "Grandma Moses" in the art community of the Coastal Carolinas, branching out, still learning, and seeking greater perfection in my interpretations of the world I see as an artist.
